owner/operators. e-Builder exists to enable repeat builders to improve
capital project execution making construction faster, less expensive,

What we seek
A visual designer with a primary focus on user-centered design
methodology, conducting user research to understand our customers and
then applying that understanding to design effective products that are a
joy to use. You must be an advocate for the user and successfully
implement designs that provide an excellent user experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the look and feel exploration, conceptual and
visual development, and final execution of design direction for
e-Builder's Web-based, iOS, and Android applications. - Create simple, elegant, aesthetically pleasing visual design
based on graphic design and usability principles. Represent user,
business, and market requirements. - Take wireframes and produce visual design deliverables such as
design compositions, interactive prototypes, and visual style guides
that adhere to the overall product style, applying standard
user-centered design guidelines and techniques - Partner successfully with development teams, product management,
strategic marketing, and customers to design and validate designs for
e-Builder products - Keep abreast of and incorporate (as appropriate) usability and design best practices, developments, and trends.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the company.
Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of user interface visual design experience.
- Visual design experience should be on highly interactive web
applications and, preferably, mobile (e.g. iOS, Android) applications -
not just website design. - Design experience should include: designing look and feel,
incorporating branding guidelines, visual treatment of text, graphic
page elements and navigational components. - Technical requirements: working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Must be expert with tools of a visual designer: some combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- online portfolio so we can see and interact with examples of
your work. Need to be able to show intermediate work product and not
just the end result. This includes personas, wire-frames, mental models,
workflows, etc. - Experience in other facets of user experience design:interaction
design, user interface design, and/or information architecture is
desired.
