Avec is seeking a Freelance User Experience Designer to work on a variety of projects in a collaborative environment. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of design principles and a proven ability in experience and interaction design on various platforms. 

Responsibilities:

• Create elegant and refined user experiences through wireframes, and interaction flows
• Demonstrated ability to analyze user needs
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various team members and clients
• Excellent oral, written, negotiation, and presentation skills with the innate ability to communicate abstract concepts to audiences that are not adept in the user experience discipline
• Experience with user-centered design patterns and methodologies
• An eye for design in general; and more important, understand key principles of information design
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator; Omnigraffle
